Corrugated, Sheeting and Finishing Equipment
Barry-Wehmiller strengthened our overall balance of markets served in October 2000 when we acquired Marquip, a pioneer in the design and manufacture of high-speed corrugating and sheeting equipment for the corrugated paperboard and folded carton industries. In 2002, Barry-Wehmiller acquired Ward Machinery Company and United Container Machinery and integrated them with Marquip to form MarquipWardUnited, Inc. Converting Equipment
In October 2005, Barry-Wehmiller completed the largest acquisition in our history, adding Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) to our family, and paper converting equipment as a fourth major operating platform. Founded in 1919, PCMC specializes in the design and manufacture of high-performance converting machinery for the global tissue, nonwovens, package printing and envelope manufacturing industries.
